In the teachers’ workshop entitled “The Sounds of Stars”, teachers observe the starry sky using telescopes using digital imaging platforms of the celestial dome. They explored methods of converting data into sound by creating their own versions of sonification schemes connected to the constellation of Orion. The first workshop took place in the premises of Ellinogermaniki Agogi School in Pallini and the second in the 19th c. historical building of the National Observatory of Athens in Thissio, opposite the Acropolis.

A total of 23 teachers from schools in Attica prefecture participated in this professional development event.
