The Design your Own Multimedia learning Environment (D.O.M.E.) project empowers students by involving them in building a low-cost planetarium system and in developing presentations. They engage with their local communities, who also benefit from the planetarium and its associated resources.
This Do-It-Yourself planetarium provides the opportunity for students to:
- Increase their skills competency profiles;
- Enrich the science capital of their communities; and to
- Grow the scientific reasoning and awareness of its members.
